I just watched again.  It was three quick touches; nothing elaborate, rehearsed, or over the top.  Crazy.

Yep.  The flag was thrown when Malone was highly fiving with the fans.  It was too far from the official for it to have involved anything he may have said.  That's one reason I hate watching college football any longer.  I can't stand the inconsistent officiating.  Just yesterday there were numerous TD celebrations far more rehearsed and elaborate that weren't called.  Even the replay reviews are crap.  Yesterday was like most other weekends; I end up watching auto, home, and cooking shows instread of football.

He's a young man and probably a 100 times more mature than I was at his age. 

And 10 times more mature than a pretty large percentage of adult serious football fans. 

I hear you and appreciate that you are not criticizing him for his Twitter behavior.   This is just an opportunity for me to point out that regardless of what he did, he has had to be far more thick skinned given the behavior of so many football fans than most people could handle.

How many of us get booed by crowds when people sitting on their fat butts don't think our best is good enough?
How many of us have the joy of being publicly criticized for our every failing?
How many of us get psychologically analyzed (and again publicly) by strangers who know almost nothing about the subject or us?

Frankly, it's amazing that any pro or major college athletes have anything but contempt for their fans.

It's a 3:30  kickoff, but we should be set up pretty early -- probably by 7:30 a.m. or so, and we'll also tailgate after the game.  Please feel free to join in, especially if you are a visiting bama fan and/or VTTW poster/lurker.    Below is a map showing the location.  We are set up right behind the UTAD tailgate area (between their large orange and white canopy and the building) and we're using a couple Coleman canopies that are Smokey Gray (two canopies).    Stop in and say hello and share some of the food and drinks.  There is no need to bring anything unless you want something in particular or just want to bring something to share.  I'm not sure if "The Grillman" will be making an appearance, but we'll be cooking steak sandwiches and Italian Sausage this week.  We're still deciding on breakfast food for the morning.  We also generally bring cookies and chips/dip.    So, stop in and have fun!

They may have never posted the final score; that would be my bet. 

I'm researching the last play and see 7 UGA defenders in the end zone and 3 rushing the QB. I can't see anyone in between. I guess there could be an 11th defender out of the frame, but if so he would have been way out of position. Has anybody else noticed this?

In one end zone video, I counted 8 UGA players in the end zone.  So, if 3 rushed, they must have had 11 on the field.  Then again, maybe I miscounted. 

I hope he at least recorded it.

I didn't watch or record it, and now I'm dying for highlights.

Yep. InvestiGator visits our tailgate most years, and he and his wife are awesome people.    Our visit to UF in 2001 was great.  Everyone treated us well.
