1  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Looking for two SEC Championship Game tickets on: November 22, 2016, 04:36:02 EST
If you are looking to sell two then let me know.  Need to know what section they are in. Thanks.
2  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Even the FL rivals site says the Maymon call was ridiculous on: March 16, 2014, 05:21:53 EDT
I thought it was a bad call and really didn't understand it. Had a big impact on the game too. I'm one that would prefer the refs only make the obvious calls. Otherwise I thought the calls pretty much went both ways, but that one call really stained the game. You guys are in the Big Dance though and that's really all that matters at this point.
3  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Wow, what a great win by Baltimore over Peyton and the Broncos on: January 13, 2013, 02:50:47 EST
Incredible to see Peyton Manning throw such a bad interception in overtime. Cost his team the game.  Oh well, maybe next season. But at his age he doesn't have many games left.
4  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Hobbit review on: December 21, 2012, 03:39:02 EST
I had a hard time following it and I read The Hobbit, all the LOTR books, The Silmarillion and the Unfinished Tales. Maybe knowing too much created the issue since Jackson took so many liberties with the original story. Regardless my 9 year old son really liked it. He was not caught up in the plot so much as the action and the screenplay and the effects.

Not the best option to buy tickets through the University Athletic Association if you are a Gator fan. Don't kid yourself, there will be 25,000 Gator fans there at least.
6  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: So what are your score predictions for the Tennessee-Alabama game? on: October 19, 2012, 05:06:38 EDT
Vols 35 Bama 34
7  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: If we beat Florida on: September 14, 2012, 04:34:13 EDT
If most of those highly rated players were actually still on the team then I might agree with Cobb. And I'd be much more confident in the Gators' chances. But the attrition in the Florida program has been at epic proportions, which is evident on the field. Dooley is in his 3rd year.  He's supposed to be turning the corner with your program.  Muschamp will be in the same position next year, which will be his 3rd year, and I expect us to be turning the corner at that point.

It is starting to feel like a Tennessee-Florida game again. The heat is as high as I can remember in a long time. That's a good thing. Hopefully next season it will be a clash of top 10 teams.

Vol fan confidence against UF is nothing new, even at the level I'm seeing it this year. I've seen that many times in the past, sometimes warranted and sometimes not. The big difference to me is that my Gators just aren't very good.  In 2010 Gator fans were coming off the Tebow years and had a false sense of security related to that, me included. We thought we were much better than we were and we were confident we'd win. Now it is obvious to a lot of Gator fans that we aren't very good and it makes us nervous, whether it is admitted or not. Winning at Texas A&M gave the sunshine pumpers a shot in the arm, but it remains to be seen how good A&M is. Just as it remains to be seen how good Florida is, and Tennessee for that matter. When UF plays LSU and Tennessee plays Bama we'll both have a much better idea of how good we really are and how we stack up against the best. This is a very important game, don't get me wrong. But those games will be the litmus tests of how much we have improved. And I think both teams have improved.

Crazy Eddie? Really? The name says it all. He's funny, but he really is crazy. He is not representative of Gator fans, although I appreciate his optimism.

Cordarelle is amazing. Looks like a taller Percy Harvin and I'm not just playing nice. That kid is electric.  Enjoy the one season you'll have him, because that guy is going to be a high first round NFL pick in a few months. He keeps the safety out of the box which helps your running game. If Florida can't get a pass rush with the front four then we're doomed. And I haven't see Florida get pressure with just the front four since 2009, even against teams like Bowling Green.

Looking forward to another great game with the Vols.

It was flagrant and the ref was right on top of it. And I continue to wonder about refs and how the "miss" some of these calls.

I thought you were talking about the phonebook:

11  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: So what happens to UGA's running game? on: July 02, 2012, 06:05:42 EDT
Keith Marshall looks like a big time player to me. I think he'll step in nicely, although he doesn't have the power that Crowell had. The losses on the OL will take more of a toll on UGA than the loss of Crowell.
12  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Gregg Williams should never coach again in the NFL on: April 05, 2012, 05:20:55 EDT
Then what should happen to the University of Miami football program? They've been doing it for years.
