That's the USA Today's take. Many of them are obvious. Some of them are ridiculous. And, no, Neyland isn't on the list. Not sure about including the likes of Lane Stadium, Camp Randall, Michie Stadium and Husky Stadium while leaving off some like Neyland, Autzen and The Colosseum.

But it got me to thinking about which stadiums I'd most like to visit. When I'm rich and retired, I'm going to take a road trip of the stadiums I'd like to visit, all in one season. It'll include a night game at Michigan Stadium in September, an afternoon game at Beaver Stadium in October, an afternoon game at Notre Dame Stadium in November, a visit to Autzen somewhere in between, and conclude with a New Year's Day trip to the Rose Bowl.

Stupid article. They left off Dudley Field. (HTV, this is sarcasm. Just thought I would clarify that before you jumped my case. :nod:)

Been to Notre Dame stadium, th elast time Tennessee played there.  It has to be on the bucket list of stadiums to visit, oh and visit the quad before the game for the Brats and the band concert on the library steps.  Autzen wasn't all that last year (at best 7-8 in the SEC on loudness factor).  Nice stadium, seemed newer than most SEC stadiums, campus wasn't all that but it was nice to park directly across from the stadium for a reasonable price (thank you BSA!).  I want to visit the hole in the ground in Ann Arbor (driven past it). 

Cal's stadium absolutely SUCKED (60+ years untouched by progress or renovation).  Want to use the bathroom, visit the portapotty (only option). The campus was very nice and I loved going to the faculty club and having a nice cold beer, or 2, or 3 ...).  Oklahoma had a nice campus and a pretty good stadium but they need to learn how to spell Neyland.

I didn't have to look past #1 to know this list is complete bunk.  The Rose Bowl is beautiful, sure, but it's a horrible place to watch a football game- especially a regular season game. :frown:

The Rose Bowl is old, in need of modernization and a really poor place to watch a game.  It has a name, but not much more than that going for it

I sat in the 4th row there once, and I was still probably 50 yards away from the sideline.  From the top of the stadium, the game is but a faint rumor.  For every UCLA home game other than USC, it MIGHT be half full on a good day.  There is nothing around it, and as you pointed out, you have to park on a golf course.  Sure is pretty, though. :dunno:
