and the system has been down since yesterday (my off day) with no one calling to say "Don't come in tomorrow -- work from home if we get things going"!!!!      So I sit here twiddling my thumbs until either they let me go home or get the system up and going....the problem is that I'm a contractor and I don't get paid if I'm not working, so my time is being completely wasted right now!

Frustrating!!

No telecommuting options?  I left Memphis last February & haven't been back to the office since!

Oh, I can work from home, but I come into the office 2 days a week.....and no one informed me of the issues so I could stay home and work when the system became available yesterday.   That's what is so frustrating....lack of communication!

It was the system....did a huge upgrade to the customer billing system over the weekend and had loads of issues Monday/Tuesday...things are beginnign to settle down today though.     Me make a mistake?   HA!

I think the point of the cartoon is that the guy has been laid off and just doesn't get it yet.
