I kinda remember JG hanging him out to dry on that one.  I also remember him going to the one option that had no prayer of making the first down, and in the usual JG manner, he got the ball to him way to late, so there were 2 nice defenders there to "greet" him right after he caught the ball, IIRC.  Watching JG play is simply maddening - 80-90% of the time the pass is 1-2 seconds late.  Almost always there is this inexplicable hesitation before he throws.  Not only does he telegraph it, he delays it.
