Here's what's weird, at least to me. Butch has now been here for 3 years, as long as Dooley. Actually longer, because Dooley didn't finish his third season. But doesn't it seem like Butch's tenure at UT has flown by compared to his predecessor? Dooley's three years felt like a decade.
Absolutely. And Butch is now 8-8 in the SEC the last two seasons, while Dooley was 1-14 in his last two, with the win being an OT win against vandy, in franklin's first year which was franklin's weakest vandy team.
Where are all the morons who kept pointing out that "berch jerns has the same rikkerd as doolah!" earlier in the year? I've seen some stupid statements in my time, but blindly comparing the first years of Butch Jones to Dooley was monumentally idiotic. The team Dooley inherited in 2010, while not dominating, was much, much better than the mess he left Butch in 2012. And...get this....its a real relevation! That's the difference.
