The kid has skills. I think that he could be really good here if he would hang around with the right attitude.
That said, he supposedly made demands and the staff was not compliant. A coach cannot allow any player to put stipulations on their playing time (if that is what he wanted) and Rick Barnes is definitely not going to allow that imo.
From reading a little about the situation, it seems that BHH has people in his ear who are giving him advice about his future. That advice isn't Tennessee friendly, I guess.

Probably more upside than anyone on the team, but he is definitely not there yet. Hate to see him go, but if he thinks his work is done to be a complete player, I wish him well in proving it elsewhere if he sees that as the answer.

One thing about Barnes.... you don't work hard as he expects you don't play much. I have no idea if true but have heard and read it said that his family expected him to play more going forward and Barnes doesn't take kindly to threats?
