To his credit, at about the 11 minute mark of the second quarter he said "I know I am not the smartest guy".   That's the smartest thing I have ever heard him say.   

Vols made great halftime adjustments....can't you see this at halftime..."boys you are doing great, now we are going to remind you that you really don't know how to play football and you are going out there in the second half and prove you don't know how to play"....how in the hell you had such a great team in the first half and the typical TN team in the second half.....how can they just come out in the 2nd half and look like shizzle....I mean great big piles of steamy shizzle....Vols WILL NOT make a bowl again this year...they don't know how to finish off after a good start!  Fizzle Dooley...past time for him to be gone!

go over their predicted (Las Vegas) season win total of 6.5 wins. After the win over NC St I felt for sure I had passed on a sure thing. Now I'm so glad that I pulled a Dooley and wussed out. What fan out there now thinks UT wont lose to Vandy and thus miss out on a bowl. Again. The SEC should make UT and Auburn play in the inaugural Turd Bowl. At least Texas A&M is trying to cheer me up.

One eerie similarity...Donahue was our DC that year, and he had been such at bammer, and our defense was simply awful.  To his credit, Johhny did fire the guy after the 6th game and we promptly won the last 5...against horrible teams.

But we then went 11-1 the next season.  One of the biggest "turnarounds" in NCAA history.

Again, there are a lot more folks like this than you Dooley-haters want to believe possible. At least one in three fans do not want Dooley fired yet, and of the other two thirds, some are "undecided".  I think it's 50% or less that actually want him fired immediately.

A large and vocal majority on here have been screaming for him to get canned since the Florida game, but this is a small slice of Voldom.
