BaseVols lose to Vandy 3-2......

They ran themselves out of the game. Man on third with no outs in the top of the 9th and he gets tagged out on a ground ball to the third baseman. Then the guy on first gets picked off.

As bad a base running awareness I've ever seen......Man on 3rd and no outs down 3-2. Hard grounder through the infield or long fly to outfield and we tie the game.

It's just the UT way the past several years in sports.....When it's nut-cutten time, we choke!

I don't know why he wandered so far off the base. He surely was told to be certain that the ball got out of the infield with there being no outs.

Oh well, a freshman mistake.
