Returned a little while ago from visiting with Pirate's Dad and his family at the hospital.
Things still looking better by the hour. Recovery looks promising. Pirate told me that he believes that his Dad will be in the hospital probably through next weekend, and then he'll go to a rehab facility for a while before going home.
Pirate looks good, too (or as good as he can look, anyway
). He's lost about 25 pounds post his heart issues, and is feeling much better.
Good news all around for the Simpson family.
