The money they are paying is likely less than a jury would award him. I understand why he said he retired. Listen carefully to the way he worded it. He lost the joy of the game. The pain he has suffered at the malfeasance the Colt GM and Irsay inflicted on him cannot be compensated with money. Welcome to retirement Andrew. Nothing is as important as your mental and physical health. Nothing.

I have said it many times watching football, as big and fast as athletes are these days you will see a hit and wonder how the guy is able to stand back up. I think athletes are getting smarter about their health and will play long enough to have enough money and get out. It is a brutal game. But that's what we love about it.
