Can't really explain it and unless you've been a Vol fan for the last 4-5 years you wouldn't understand.  Time and time again we were so close to have it yanked out from our hands, and they finally did it.  I literally cried.  I know, it's not like we won the SECC or anything... but it hit me hard.

Earlier I got this queasy feeling because we shouldn't be as ecstatic as we are. One game, right? Then I remember what a complete disaster UT athletics has been for several years and feel that we all-- players, fans, students-- needed this so bad that I just don't care.

Needed this so freaking bad.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

I can admit that my allergies kicked in just a little bit during the Tennessee Waltz rendition. A beautiful and long-awaited moment. Let's make it a habit.

Yep.  Hardly anyone left until long after the game ended.

I'm down in fla for a wedding and got to watch the first half in the hotel with my parents.  I listened to the 3rd Qtr on Sirius while driving to the wedding, which was at a country club.  My dad and I ended up in the club lounge on the phone with my brother, who was giving us play by play of the final moments of the game.  The bartender asked us if we wanted to change the channel to the game, and we both shouted "NO NO NO! ".  Neither of us could bear to watch the end!  I agree that the curse is broken!
