Best thing to come out of the past two games is Liam Spence getting his groove back. He's the straw that stirs this drink, and he went into a little slump to end the season. Good to see his bat wake up in time for the regionals. We've burned our weekend rotation, so it will be tough from here to win a couple of bullpen games. But if we keep hitting like this, it can be done.  |

Well, I haven't followed the Basevols nearly as closely as some, but my general impression is that we have handled the gators all season. I expect us to have a great shot in the next game even without pitching. The next game is guaranteed to be tougher though (unless Ole Miss somehow makes it to that level).

We won 2 of 3 against them, but they went on a hot streak from there. And they're coming off a day of rest, so they should have the advantage tomorrow. We're really just playing for pride at this point, anyway. As far as the NCAA regionals go, the hay is in the barn at this point. |
