OK, tngamecock, you saying your defense is better than ours I can't argue with.  However, you completely lose credibility when you say your offense is better than ours.  From what do you basis this off of?  You have an unproving QB just like us with our 2nd string. You have an unproving RB with Lattimore out.  You have one good receiver, just like we do.  So please tell me how your offense is so much better than UT's?  Your offense wasn't really sitting the world on fire with Garcia, Lattimore, and Ashlon.  Shaw has played one good game against a bad UK Game.  Coming into Neyland stadium will be much different than playing at UK.

Also, you never addressed the fact your jackass of a coach ran up the score against UK. 

Tonight Henry Co vs Dickson Co...big rivals....winner decides district champ.  Who wins?  Henry Co is currently ranked #1 in Class 5A.  They have been blowing people away this year.  Starters haven't played after halftime all year.  Although, I think part of that is the competition in the district is not that tough.

You might want to post this question next year........I'm just sayin.  Losing Lattimore is a big blow, but make no mistake about it, SC's defense is right behind Bama/LSU and Lattimore doesn't play D.  You guys are down Bray/Hunter.  I'd say you have to compare the teams as of today.  SC still has a better defense and a better offense.  Can UT win, of course.  I still think SC will be favored. 

You lost me at better offense.  Without Lattimore, how can you make that claim?  Scoring 56 against a bad UK team doesn't make your offense great.  Which by the way, completely showed a lack of class scoring with 12 seconds left...should have taken a knee.

No.  They come out 12 days before the game...the monday before the game the following Saturday.  I suspect Bama will be 2:30 central CBS game with South Carolina being a night game.  CBS will have a chance to showcase the top two teams in the country in back to back weeks with LSU and Bama both playing UT.

Totally don't get your point of 7 wins will be hard to come by.  We get UGA at home and South Carolina at home.  South Carolina hasn't really been all that this year.  They have giving up a ton of points. 

They showed me this team will compete this year!  They could have layed down after hunter went down or florida went up big in the second half but they didn't.  If we had Hunter, it would have been a different game.  The Florida DB's could not cover without interfering and with Hunter it would have been worse.

The guy is going to have a heartattack on the field as nuts as he goes!  Someone needs to tell him that EVERY game in the SEC is pressure packed!

A gator fan I was talking to today said their secondary is their weakness...they start 2 FR and 2 Soph.  I didn't realize that.  If so, I say we pass pass and pass some more and make it a high scoring game.

I hear what everyone is saying about Kesling and agree that you can't follow the game.  However, I have listened to other SEC play by play guys and they are just as bad.  The Alabama guy drives me crazy..."they gain 4 yards on first down" and then "it is 2nd and 8".  Huh!?  The LSU guys you can't even follow what is happening because they are talking about things that aren't happening on the field.  UGA is awful as is UF.

BOM, I don't think the play on the court will suffer.  I think, if anything, it will make them play harder and more determined and fight for their coach.  They will not want to let her down.  I also don't think the state of the program will decline.  Will other coaches use it against her, sure, but alot of recruiting was done by the assistant coaches anyway.

I just don't understand why some people hate Pat.  How can you hate someone that has done so much for the sport...and the right way.  You have never heard the NCAA accuse the Lady Vol Basketball program of rules violations.  Pat has graduated 100% of her players.  What isn't to love about the woman?

Reading the reactions from former players, you know how much they care for her.  While outsiders may have misconceptions because of Pat's stare or constant yelling, they also need to read what her former players say about her.  Pat let's them stay at her house even to this day if they are in Knoxville.  She cooks for them and provides them guidence.  Every comment I read from former players talked about Family and We will fight this, not she, but WE.

I don't know that Va Tech gives the SEC the added exposure it is looking for.  People say it brings you the DC market but does it really?  DC is still a ways from Blacksburg.  I just don't see that many people in DC as being Va Tech fans...maybe I am wrong.  I would think they follow Maryland and Virginia more.

It is about as official as it gets from actually doing it.  They are following the way Nebraska did it so they can't be sued by the Big 12 or forced to pay a huge amount of money to leave.  The way they were going about it weeks ago would have made for tons of lawsuits.  

Clockwork, I don't disagree with you but this is on Pearl in general.  You just don't lie to the NCAA and he did.  I loved the guy, but what he did was stupid.

Cute little guy Vinnie!  Congrats to both you and your wife.  It is an awesome feeling and never gets old.  My little guy is now smiling and cooing and it is just awesome!

As a guy who just experienced this 7 1/2 weeks ago, I can tell you that everything you have heard so far is the truth.  I don't know what you and your wife have planned tonight but go to dinner, go to the movies, keep yourself busy.  The time will go by so slow today/tonight if you don't and this will be the last time you will get to be alone for awhile.

I was at my wife's head but saw the whole birth and saw my son arrive into this world and my heart just sank.  I was cutting the cord and my hands wouldn't stop shaking!  While they were cleaning him up, I was stroking his check because it made him not cry and I had this huge smile on my face that wouldn't come off.  The first time I got to hold him was unbelievable!

With that said, a couple of other pointers...if you wife is breast feeding, this will be a huge task for her because she will feel like she is exhausted with feeding every 2 to 3 hours.  In the middle of the night, GET UP with your wife.  I would sit on the couch with her in the dark but it made her feel better because it just wasn't her.  I don't know how you are with household chores but do the laundry, clean up after yourself, etc. 

After a couple of weeks, my wife couldn't keep up with my son's need for feed and we switched to the bottle.  It was great because I got the chance to help with the feeding.  There will be times your son will cry for long periods of time for no reason at all.  Just always realize it is worth it.  There will be times you want to scream....go outside and do it.  There are times when you will need to take the baby and tell you wife to get out of the house and recharge her batteries.  There are times when you will need to do the same!

With all that said, good luck tomorrow.  You and your wife will be in all our thoughts and prayers for a successful delivery.  Let us know how it went when you can
