IMO, for a school that is still crawling out from under a huge sex scandal to hire the guy who presided over the worst sex scandal in SEC history would be...an interesting choice.

If it happens, I predicted it back on January 1 in this thread: http://volstothewall.com/board/index.php?topic=29712.0.    I actually see it as a good fit, almost perfect, especially considering his strong Pennsylvania ties.  It's a noted program with high expectations, but not overly harsh or fanatical like many other places.  He could thrive there with good seasons punctuated by the occasional great season, and I think he can do that.  Plus, knowing some of the PSU fans I do, I think they will take to his "asshatery" pretty well.
