Take advantage of it.  Now they don’t have a primary target to double.

Hopefully it sharpens the focus of everyone on offense.

How does Pete fizzleing Thamel get the story before any of a number of Tennessee media? I knew it was a possibility, but I wasn't expecting it. I admit I wasn't digging for info as the week progressed. Next man up!

Not sure how much of a scoop it is...was widely anticipated and about 99.9% likely.

I think Butch would have played him anyway.  Butch had a way of hiding the injuries and letting the WR play, and then 5 games later explaining why they were not performing.  Or maybe he was lying about them being injured, IDK. 

The bottom line is...Butch is gone, and that's a good thing!

Hooker throwing high didn't help the cause...Tillman had to go high to make that catch and a way too high throw...Hooker has that issue too much for a 6th year QB...It leads to WRs getting hurt...Tillman was undercut because he had to go so high to catch it...IMO you can't blame Akron on that deal...Looked like a good hit.
