This is what impressed me about Hurd when I read his statistics

Hurd broke the TSSAA state single-season record for rushing yards in 2012 with 3,357 yards and 43 touchdowns despite missing the equivalent of nearly three full games.

I don't care if you are running against the third team from The Sisters of the weak and poor.....it is amazing to get almost 3400 yards in a single season.
