Thanks for asking!

To celebrate a Vol win:

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Fay (1999)($75.00 Release price in 2002)

An outstanding classic California Cabernet. A droner's Vault selection.

Consig started with one his go to Cabs-- BV Napa.  Though BV Rutherford and BV GdLT have more terroir and "Rutherford Dust", BV Napa is a consistent wine which pairs great with steak.  Typical retail has risen to the mid to low $20s but the wine is a classic year after year.

Following the BIG tannic Cab-Consig stepped it down a notch and went with a Gevrey Chambertin Ville Villages.  Restrained Burg that could have used more bottle time but classic wine that would great with Turkey for T-giving.  about $25 per bottle

Man, you pulled out an old post. Which reminds me, I have one more bottle of that wine. And...I used to drink a lot of BV and Beaulieu wines. Loved them. I need to get back to them. I'll have to call my wine girl. I also have a bottle of Chambertin in the vault. Saving it for something special.
