noted Justin King is listed at LB. Do we not have a FB on the roster? lol OTOH King is a good athlete, and should help at LB.

They moved him, and if he can pick it up he a good athlete and should be able to provide depth at least.

In the rare case we use a lead blocker, I think you can count on that being a TE. The fullback position, from what I can tell, essentially does not exist in the Butchjakian offense.

I was wondering & figured as much. I hoped King would be a linebacker when we recruited him.

Any word on Vereen?

Knoxville Fish Wrapper reporting the following:

Vereen suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament, a ligament in the knee for which recovery time can vary greatly. But UT was confident after surgery that the injury won’t end his season and recovery time could be as quick as six weeks, depending on rehabilitation

Meaning that's a min...yeah he could be back in time for a late September game, but I'd rather he not rush it, particulary since this is Year One of the Butch Jones era and expectations are low anyway.  Plenty of time to break him in later in the year.
