Sounds like Palardy will do kickoffs but Brodus gets the start on placekicking duties. Should be interesting, and I understand why Dooley is ready to try Brodus. Good luck to him . . . he's worked hard but this is a tough game to come into.

Me too. All the more reason to hope the offense is clicking so we don't have to kick many FGs. Then again, Brodus is 2-2 on FGs and 4-4 on XPs. There's at least some track record.

Also, Dooley mentioned he gets the ball up in the air, and that's something I thought was obvious Saturday. His trajectory is better than Palardy's. I just don't know what his range is like.

Estimates from watching warmups - at least 10 yards shorter range.  OTOH Palardy has increased his range from last year so the true delta is probably not as great.
