How the hell does a national broadcast network not have a better camera angle of that play? This is JP-quality. :banghead:

Why are we constantly going up tempo against them with a qb we don't trust?

I would slow it down and snap the ball with one second left on the play clock every play and try to end this misery quickly.

If there was an Andy Griffith Show episode on, I would watch it.

How do you compete with these bastages?  We have not come close to pressuring Jones.

CBS guys said Vols still have life. One guy commented JG had played well and they moved the ball well at times. The other guy asked "who is going to tackle" and they all laughed.

Offense has not been bad really.  Not great, but better than expected.

Pass defense continues to be piss poor. Even allowing for the facts that Matt Jones is one of the best QBs in the country, bama offense is literally THE best and they made uga look silly in second half last week, we still can do better than this.

Only bright spots on pass D are that Thompson and Taylor both had nice breakups.  Thus I am going to continue to think they have great individual talent, must be coaching or lack of pass rush and/or a bit of underperforming by both, but I wouldn't bench them just yet lol.

Damn I was just going to comment about no turnovers so far. Never mind. :hurl:

Why do the coaches we hire suddenly get to Knoxville and forget how to coach? We hire them because they are good coaches....right? Then what happens that we haven't looked well coached for a few years now? This team doesn't.  Two snaps... a fumble for td and a false start.

At this point, CBS might as well just deploy a camera to UTMC and devote their coverage to Waddle at the hospital. This game is a nothingburger, and that's all they can talk about anyway. :frown:

Serious question....where would JG be on Bama's depth chart? Yet he still does his arrow routine. Is he good enough to be that cocky?

As to your point about chucking it downfield, we tried that a few times in the first half, Palmer dropped one and bammer covered the others.  Also in the Uga game our second half playcalling was criticized for only throwing long and not giving JG any outlet routes.

Too late to act like Pruitt was really "going for it" in this game.  The onside kick just now is even more hilarious.  

The game is over. Why not let other qb's play.

Bama's defense is their Achilles heel this year. A good offense will beat them. Do they face any good offenses this year in the SEC from here on out?
