All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

Pirate, it has been very quiet here this morning.

If anyone is looking for unrest and discontent you could jog over to the General's Quarters on VQ.

The Legion of the Miserable are alive and active there.

We will all individually choose our own mindset on this situation.  We can choose to be positive and hope for success from the staff and players that are assembled.  We can choose to be negative, debating 'what could have been' or 'what should have been' or 'what will be'.  At the end of it all our choice and our beliefs will have no effect on the outcome.  Alas, after all, it is only a game.  I choose joy!

I'm all in with Coach Josh Heupel, his staff, and his players..... until I have reason to be otherwise.

I'm sorry about yesterday. Wasn't quite the hire I was hoping for and I got my negative ranting out of my system. He's what we have and maybe he will be better than we/I think. I hope so. I've been a douche of negativity since Kiffin left abruptly. No excuse for that though.

I saw a post on one site either today or yesterday asking the question why the Norvell hire to FSU was deemed to be fabulous by the super smart media while the Heupel hire by UT was not. Same concept except Heupel actually had experience coaching in the SEC. The main reason for this I came to was the fact UT rejected the media selected Schiano hire so everything going forward is therefore trash.

Who knows.

I told a colleague yesterday that the only thing that really matters, as far as results on the field, is that the players and staff believe in each other.  If they buy-in to each other and are willing to work, they can be successful.  What the media or fans think is really irrelevant to performance.

He pointed out that, in some cases, the negativity can actually be a positive.  It can provide extra motivation to prove that those people were completely wrong.

Hopefully all this Transfer Portal migration is a thing of the past soon. There have been numerous programs lose a lot of talent to some already good programs.
