Looking for Sampson and/or Sheldon to contribute mightily

Per Iowa's color guy, Raymor Kayton is a UT WR, Tyler Baron is a rush guy to watch.

I need to complain less about our broadcast.

Listening to an Iowa City station that apparently programs classic rock. "Dirty Deeds" is cranking at equal volume with the broadcast. It is absolutely amazing. No, it is not intentional.

If Nico learns to handle the blitz he'll be dangerous. It's impressive what he's done with so few snaps.

Dang good half for the most part. We are lucky Iowa is passing challenged. Any other team would be able to challenge our young secondary.

He's getting little help from his OL or WRs. At least 4 of his 6 incompletions were drops. But he'll come back in August with another 15-20 lbs of muscle and a fully healthy supporting cast. I expect next year's offense to approach 2022 numbers. :powert:

Like I said they can play like that against Iowa's inept offense. They know they won't challenge them. Any other offense, they couldn't play them that tight. But they are doing what they have to do. They have covered really well.

Can't wait to see Nico with a full roster around him. Hope he will be durable if they are going to let him run often. Nice that he will be able to avoid the rush...with more experience. He is going to be an elite one. Do any of you still scratch you head about not playing him this season? Hindsight seems to be it was a good move. Probably wouldn't have changed Vols record much

He looked good running the ball. Of course our defense has spent the past month and 3 quarters gearing up to stop a Feddie Kitchens clone (only less accurate). I suspect when he faces a D that has prepared for him it'll be a bit different.

Nico didn't have a lot of yards but played a fine game and is our future....And please Heupel.... stretch the darn field next year with Nico. And please design some run plays other than running between the tackles. It was great seeing us run the I formation on short yardage. I've had some laugh at me on tos with me saying we needed some power plays....The bastards aren't laughing at me now. Play big boy football in short yardage...none of this snap it to the QB 5 yards back and hand it to the RB 6 yards back to pick up 3 feet. Damn!!
