Zion clearly pushed off on that and 1 at the end, but no way they're calling that on Duke in that situation.

The missed alley-oop layup was costly. If They use the bounce pass and get the layup, they likely win that game. They might have even gotten an and-1 on the shot.

UCF wasn't getting that call or a foul on the last shot - short of an absolute mugging. Imo, wasn't much of a foul on the big man either. The thing is, if he jumps he maybe doesn't get the foul. That rule makes no sense to me - if you jump, the contract is ignored but if you stand straight up without jumping it is a block. The officials did miss a lane violation on Duke's last missed free throw before the Zion possession though.

Zion looked like a fullback bowling over 2 players on his way to the basket. If that had been Grant Williams they would have called a charge and given the other team 8 FTs and the ball. UCF had their chances and missed 2 good looks as time expired.

My worst fears is losing towards the end of this tourney the way UCF lost. It would haunt us forever, lol.

I almost think Tacko (the big UCF guy) should have let Zion score. Then they are up one with 11 seconds, just have to get the ball to a good FT shooter on the inbounds. Fouling Zion was the worst move.

Photos posted on TOS shows a hook and hold and a push/over the back on the Zion missed FT that Duke put back for 2. It was plains as day and refs had to have their eyes closed to miss them.

Yeah, that's unfortunate. UCF deserved to win. They had plenty of chances though.

Dang I wanted Duke to lose. But does anyone have any doubts that Zion is the Player of the Year in college basketball. Dude never has a bad game. That is the big difference. Most players do. Look at all the off games Williams and Schofield have had. I'm still waiting for Zion to have a bad game. Hope it's soon.

All you need to beat Duke is a 7'6" center who can stay out of foul trouble. I read somewhere that Duke was -16 to UCF when Fall was in the game. In all seriousness, Dawkins was amazing in that game. Without him, and the big man, it wild have been a blowout.

They said that other teams might use it as a blue print. I hope so. Would love to see Duke go down even though it would wreck my bracket as I have them losing to Vols in the final.

I just live for these responses from those of you that don't like the truth. What part of my post above is not the truth? What part of it is the hardest for you to handle?

Sorry. I just talk crap. Most of the time its just a failure by me to convey sarcasm or tongue in cheek meaning. I just don't wear my orange tinted glasses 24/7. Which wears on your nerves. I get it.
