Pretty sure Atlanta is 1v4.
It’s really weird that I can’t find anywhere that states it. I wonder if they look to see where 1-4 are and then place them in the closest city. Atl is ridiculous.

For the life of me, I cannot find who plays in the Peach and who plays in the Fiesta.
1/4 and 2/3.
If we end up playing UGA again God forbid it is in Atlanta.

One thing to consider: we’re through the toughest part of our schedule. We have no more national showcase games left, while all of the other playoff contenders do. So while for many voters our loss to UGA will be their last impression of us, Oregon’s big win over USC (or vice versa) will be fresh in their minds. If the OSU/UM game is tight, they might consider the loser of that one. If Clemson blows out some tomato can in the ACCC, maybe they’ll even get some consideration.
I think we need style points. I think we need to try to hang 50+ on our last three opponents. Because for many/most voters, those box scores are all they’re going to see of us from here on out.
Agree 100%….. but honestly, if you told me we were even having this conversation in Nov back in August, I would have thought you were a loon. I have had the best Fall I can remember in a long, long time. Everything is gravy at this point.

I'm really not even interested in the playoffs this year. Georgia, and osu would probably stymie the O, and maybe whoever the 3rd potential opponent might be. Sorry but yesterday brought my battered Vol syndrome roaring back.
If you want this program to get better, you want us in the CFP. It tells recruits we are legit and worthy of their services. Just breathe for a week and let’s focus on winning out.

Yeah, if Smart had 30+ of his best guys transfer OUT, I know he would've stood pat. Sure. I think it is possible for us to play them 4 vs 1 in round one. I think that could be a better game at a neutral site.

UGA's offense is ranked #2 in the country, behind UT, and scored 27 today. Vols defense got burned some early, but settled in and played well enough to win. It's time to give those guys some credit.
WADR, UGA went into clock burning mode. The could have scored a ton more.

Vol fans everywhere are riding high, drunk on their first CFP #1 ranking, all the while suffering from irrational exuberance dating back to the third Saturday in October. It is now even infecting some national media types and CFP committee members.
But it all ends tomorrow.
UT-Knoxville has had a nice little run this season, taking advantage of impaired LSU and Florida teams, as they should have. And somehow, Bama forgot how to play defense. Vol fans should be happy and proud of what Chumley and his troops have accomplished so far. But the Georgia Bulldogs are the reigning National Champions, undefeated and looking to repeat. The road to Atlanta goes through Athens this year (and pretty much every year), and this is where the buck stops for the Vols.
No way is UT-Knoxville going to win tomorrow’s football game.
I could throw around some meaningless national stat rankings.. Scoring offense: UT-Knoxville 1, UGA 6 Scoring defense: UT-Knoxville 26, UGA 2 Total offense: UT-Knoxville 1, UGA 2 Total defense: UT-Knoxville 80, UGA 4 .. but stats don’t win games.
I could look to UGA’s 5-game winning streak against UT-Knoxville; each game won by no less than 3 TDs. But history doesn’t win games.
I could point to home field advantage, or how loud the crowd will be. Or recruiting rankings. Or that the Vegas sharps have UGA as an 8pt fave. But that is all just noise.
UGA will beat UT-Knoxville tomorrow, because UGA is the better team. Look for UGA to beat UT-Knoxville like it stole something, which it has: the CFP #1 ranking. That is disrespectful, and to a man, UGA knows it. In other words, WWFDT!
To Vols everywhere, I wish you safe travels to Athens and back. Just remember, the Sugar Bowl is not a bad consolation prize.
Go Dawgs! Sic ‘em! Woof, woof, woof.
OMG…. Seriously? Are you that nervous? I was hesitant but now I know. I see your WWFDT and raise you a WGKTFA…..

He is the fifth leading uga tackler and sack leader with 3. More importantly, he is said to be the leader of the defense. Uga is already 120th in Team Sacks. This just makes it that much worse. But additionally, go listen to the interview of Hyatt by Kesling after the bammer game. When asked what the key was to his success, Hyatt said hard work blah blah, but also "we knew that if we played fast it would disrupt their communication, and we know that communication is very important to the bammer dbs" (somewhat paraphrased). So if their leader is out..... This is so huge. Their defensive QB is out.
