To me there is very little chance UT doesn't make the playoff, with the only chance being if USC, TCU, and Michigan  win. That last space would go to USC or UT then, and it would be dicey. We also do not want LSU taking a spot.

So we need to root for UGA to win out, TCU to lose to someone, and Ohio state to beat Michigan IMO.

I only see one scenario (if both UT & UGA win out) that possibly burns us~~~TCU wins out and OSU/Mich is a one score game either way.  The worst case would be LSU winning out.

I think that a 1-loss USC as the Pac 12 champ is a possible threat to make the top 4, regardless of what everyone else does. I’m not saying that I think they should be, only that they could be.

Agreed. I feel the way in which we lost is a part of the reason that we fell to 5 instead of to 4.
