Ole Roy looked like he's aged 20 years this last 2 years....I saw him in a post game interview after they got beat in the first round and thought to myself....Roy, you need to call it quits and go fishing...I'm sure this last year has taken it's tole on a lot of coaches...especially the older coaches.

It must be hard work to not just coach the team, but also to follow his players around and make sure they’re attending their imaginary classes.

Someone who knows Roy just told me there had been no definitive plan to retire now but that he has been increasingly fed up with the direction of college basketball and the Walker Kessler transfer was the "nail in the coffin."
