Title: Clemson, West Virginia, Cincinnati, and Oregon...
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on December 04, 2011, 05:16:55 EST
...have two things in common:  All won or tied for their conference titles (or soon will, in Clemson's case).  And all were blown out by SEC teams.

'Nuff said.

The Big 12 needs to have their chance also.

What does it say for the Big East that their conference champion was demolished by the 11th-place team in the SEC?

The BCS absolutely MUST rescind the Big Least's automatic berth when the contract expires in 2013.

I wasn't that impressed even when they still had Miami and VaTech.  Now?  I am not even sure they are better than Conference USA.

Blown out?  The Ducks lost by 13, outgained LSU, had the same number of first downs, only averaged .2 yards per rush less than the Tigers, had three drives over 68 yards to LSU's 1 (they scored four td's on drives of 0, 28, 41 and 41), lost the penalty battle by 60 yards and lost the turnover battle 4-1.  We lost (and deservedly so), but blown out is not what happened.

Stats mean you did not get blown out?.....hey the final score still looks like you got trashed and trashed again.....
