Moreover, a source with direct knowledge indicated to FootballScoop that Michigan may have attempted to assist the opposition of a potential CFP opponent in an effort to disrupt that team's potential path to the Playoff.

Beamer was, once upon a time while an assistant coach at UGA, reprimanded and fined for gaining access to the Wake Forest playbook.

And UM also scouted Clemson, who SC upset the very next week. A lot of smoke here.

Charles Woodson was a long time ago. My seething hatred of Michigan had faded over time. Heck, I even came to root for them in certain games (like OSU). But if this allegation is proven, I want blood. And you know who should be madder than anyone? Hendon Hooker. He shredded his knee, lost millions of dollars in draft position, and possibly jeopardized his entire career in that game.

Offense wasn't the problem against South Carolina, Rattler played out of his mind.

true, but if SC had UT's defensive signals, that would explain a lot about how Rattler could go from a dog against UF week, 19 of 27 in passing attempts for 193 yards, to lighting UT up with 30 of 37 attempts for 453 yards.

And there's also their game against Clemson too. Same scenario

They did a much better job of stealing our defensive signals than offense....Our O scored enough to win....they cornholed our defense...

Yes, that would explain a whole lot.  We all know that something happened to cause such an anomaly.  I always thought it was dissention between the O and the D...but this would be a good explanation.
