....and the whole place closes down. I've lived here all of my life and for all of my life it has been that way. Northern transplants just get a good laugh about it. I came into the office at about 8:30 and the complex was deserted. Only a few have shown up through the day. Everyone in the county must live on some lightly traveled country road that's impassable with any amount of snow. At least to hear them tell it.

When we get 4-5 inches we have to call the SC National Guard.

For me, all wheel drive BMW and I go anytime as long as it not more than about 9-10 inches. Then ground clearance becomes a problem.

We got about the same amount, and there were only about 15 folks in the office by 9:00 a.m. Some others trickled in later, but most remoted in. The drive home yesterday afternoon was much worse than this morning's commute. One of our new hires from New Hampshire was highly amused.

We're expecting 1-2 feet in the mountains today through tomorrow.  I plan to get up early, drive on slick mountain roads and ski powder till I drop.

You think it's bad there you should be in Atlanta.    I've never seen such a clusterflop in all my life.

Either Loveland or Copper - whichever got the most snow.

I haven't skiied everywhere in Colorado- mostly just the places along I-70, which means I missed Aspen, Steamboat, and Telluride.  But of the ones I DID try, Copper was my favorite.
