Post by: 101stDad on August 06, 2011, 07:01:10 EDT Depending on which guru one listens to, he is one of the top 4 or 5 overall targets on UT's entire potential recruit list. It's not going to be easy holding on to him. The Aggies will continue to put the pressure on him up to signing day.
That said, normally a kid who is leaving a home area and is coveted by the local team will wait until signing day to make his choice public so he isn't subjected to cat calls when he goes on the road. By making a verbal this early, it appears that he is solid UT. I hope it holds. We really need a "can't miss" type MLB. |
