I don't tune in to watch a basketball game to watch the refs stop the action every 10 seconds.

This has basically been a game of HORSE.  If you like free throw contests, you're on the edge of your seat.

OTOH, it is nice that the RULES of the game are finally being enforced.

Maybe the players will learn to play the game within the rules.

They do this every year in November and December.  By March it will be hand to hand combat, just like every season.

and I don't like it

Part of it is the inconsistency both in the calls outside and the variance between what is called outside and not called inside.
