I think Texas was in the same situation as UT was. Both had long time coaches who had recruiting fall off and left the cupboard bare.

I wonder if Charlie wishes he had taken the UT job. Or stayed at Louisville.

It may be a long dry spell for Texas recruiting. They play in a crappy conference, and A&M being able to offer a slate of SEC opponents is allowing them to suck up a lot of Texas state talent.
