Wow, that's awesome.  The only question I had about Cuonzo was his recruiting.  Up to this point, his only real marquee signee has been Stokes, and Bruce Pearl got a big assist on that one.  I think our hoops program is in very good hands.

Just so we're clear... Cuonzo just beat out coach K (among many others) for this kid.

Let's just hope we can keep him.  You never know when Uncle Wes will come down and have a "talk" with his mother.

Nice to see a kid ranked so highly from my home county in West TN and for him to sign with UT.  I am no BB recuiting junkie but I can't remember one this highly ranked in a long time from NW TN.  Great job Coach!

As far as Pearl getting an assist with Jarnell, that's true... at least as far as establishing the relationship... but after Bruce left, Jarnell eliminated UT from his top 3 for a time and Cuonzo had to get back on it. I think the biggest thing that worked in our favor with Stokes though is that we had a scholly open at midterm and UF and Memphis didn't.

The Hubbs committment is huge. Cuonzo is going to win at Tennessee, no doubt in my mind.

Also, if you haven't seen this, it's worth a watch...

Saw it on the jumbotron Saturday, but couldn't hear it that well.  That's pretty awesome.  Cuonzo is one intense dude.

Hubbs #12 overall in the class, 5 star

Not only is Austin Nichols, another 5 star, #17 overall, a UT lean, but Cuonzo has us right in it with John Williams III, #47 a four star F, and leading with forward AJ Davis out of Georgia

Thanks for the link.  I saw the end of the jumbo torn (couldn't hear the audio) and noted that is was not subtle.
