Neyland Stadium could look like Bryant-Denny after a pounding by Mississippi State. I think a whole hell of a lot of Tennessee fans will sell their tickets to Alabama fans

Yes, it's over.  The game, the season, the Dooley regime- all finished.

And let me add, my opinion of 30 minutes left was IMO vindicated.  We stayed in it to the end, when it looked like they were going to run us all the way back to Knoxville and win by 3-4 or even more TDs.  I really thought that if we came out flat in the second half and made no defensive adjustments, we were staring a 54-20 game in the face.

It didn't play that way, but unfortunately we did still come up short at the end.

But no, it wasn't over at the half BDV.

Sure it was.  Whenever this team plays an opponent with a pulse, they lose.  Period.  The methodology may be different, but the end result is always the same.   But I'm glad you got to see 30 minutes of competitive football, anyway.  Nothing sucks worse than walking out of a stadium not only having lost, but not feeling you got your money's worth.  So if that second half made the trip to Starkpatch worth it, then I'm happy for you.

Yes, the second half definitely made it worth it to me.  Would have liked another 5, maybe, at the end there (ie their last drive stopped and we score).

I'll say this though...if Devrin doesn't fumble, I think we win that game.  They could not stop our run game and if they cheat up we burn them deep.  They had no answer for our O at the end of the game.  We just couldn't get the ball back and unfortunately gave them a short field.

Speaking of which, although for the most part our RBs played great, where was Raj?   Did he get injured?  I would say that at the end of a close, competitive game on the road in the SEC where we are down by 3, I want my veteran RB pounding the rock.  I know Devrin made some runs, but Raj didn't suck in the first half either.  He could have done just as well IMO.

Seriously, did he get injured?  I would have had him in there if I was coaching.

Yes.  He was hurt shortly after halftime and never returned.  I haven't heard anything else about him this morning.

Ah crap.  See I had no idea about any of that.  Did not do the audio thing.
