Lets just wait and see how this season pans out. Right now, the season and the schedule are very favorable. Any hiccups and people will turn on him quickly.

SHould he do so, he obviously deserves a raise. I don't agree that just winning the East would make him "one of the hottest commodities in college football". If he wins the SECC and/or the NC, then I would buy that. I would say winning the East may make Jones about as hot as he may ever get. Maybe that's what the author meant.
