…9 short of Devonte Smith’s single season SEC record for receiving TDs. He has anywhere from 5 to 7 games remaining.

Does he break the record?

I think his ceiling for the rest of the regular season is 7

HE has a shot but I doubt it.

OTOH as teams start concentrating on him the other receivers will be open
Keyton drop a TD pass on a post route last night for example, as they doubled Hyatt

As Peter Cushing said... "I think you over estimate their chances." three of those remaining games are against Vanderbilt, Missouri and South Carolina. That's probably good for at least six (baseline) right there.

this my number being 7
Also, there is a good chance that in at least 2 of those games Hyatt will be playing less than a full game

He will get at least a bowl game also, and perhaps an SECCG and TWO bowl games.  If so, I think he gets it.

I mean...if we face bammer in the SECCG, he's easily good for another 5, right?
