Hernandez now under investigation for "more than one" shooting while in Florida.  At this point, isn't it fair to question the local law's seemingly cozy relationship with UF athletics?

Would be surprised if it wasn't now. It is a big if but if that type of stuff is typical the PD and uf could wind up with a horrible black eye or worse.

At this point, even the Meyer loyalists must admit that there's no way in hell the head ball corch wasn't aware of Hernandez's propensity for felonious behavior.

We know from the police reports released a few weeks back that witnesses fingered AH in two separate felonies, and the cops didn't pursue either case.  Now we learn there could have been at least one more shooting.  One wonders just how vigorously they may have investigated that one.

And here's the thing: if they were willing to go to these lengths to protect a 17 year old freshman who had yet to play a down, you KNOW they have done it for other, more experienced players.

If the university (other than Meyer) was involved in any way uf could have some major problems. I would hate to learn that these type of things are common just to win ballgames.
