...does anyone really believe that he grew up idolizing Doug Flutie?  I mean, I'm 40 (I'm a MAN!), and I can barely remember Doug Flutie.  I'm guessing that someone was tipped off that Flutie would be up on stage with him and advised him to say that.

Different day, BDV. With the Interwebz as it is today young folks can pull up video of just about any former NFL and most former college players they want to see.  Somebody in his family might have been a Flutite and introduced Flutie's style of play to him. You just never know.

He said he and his dad used to recreate the play in the back yard.  So he probably heard about it from his dad.  Who probably is A MAN!  WHO IS FORTY!
