Well, I agree with Vinnie that I don't really have a problem with our schedule...in fact, I think it'll be fun if we actually get to play it. I hate sitting through snoozefests against UT Chattanooga and Arkansas State. But here's the problem with the teams that get the screws put to them and gets a much tougher draw as a result of that arbitrary scheduling: the fans like you who will inevitably be sitting here in November hollering "Fahr him!!" when UT doesn't win its games.
Bingo. To me, I'd consider 6-4 with this schedule as a record that Pruitt could stand by and say "we're still headed in the right direction". 7-3 would be wonderful and anything better would be party time. 5-5 or worse, meh.
And like you, one of the things that excited me is every weekend would be games I'd be glued to across the league, no snoozers. Think of the ratings the SEC would run if they push through the negativity and play the season especially if other big conferences pull the plug.
