The burdens of a working man or woman for that matter. I am home today because I got in the hours I am allowed to work by Thursday. So I stayed home.

This week while updating an experience matrix for work used for proposals, I realized in August I will have to list 40 years for work experience. When I commented to my wife "No wonder I feel so old. I have been working 40 years."
She turned to me with that exasperated look I normally get to say "That's because you are old. We both are. Have you not been paying attention?"
I guess not. To those who would say "You are only as old as you feel." that cannot be true. The way I feel today, no one can be that old.
