Vonn Bell on his visit, "This staff showed my a lot and I am going to talk to my coach about that when I get home and see how things go. I really didn't expect anything like that, but the fans here are excited about this Tennessee program because it is coming back."

Andrew Bone who works within the athletic dept. at Alabama (Alabama's Hubbs) had this to say. " I don't see Bell as a part of this class anymore. I'll give the edge to UT.'

GO VOLS!!!

Bone doesn't work for the Bama athletic department.  He runs a Rivals.com site.

Hubbs doesn't work for UT, other than spotting for Bob Kesling at football games.

Bone is a really good guy, by the way.  We have a good mutual friend and I have had the opportunity to talk to Bone in person several times.

I think this one will end up UT.

Also interesting is Ohio state commitment Trey Johnson, a 4 star LB, secretly visited UT this weekend. His dad confirmed it when asked. He apparently has a good relationship with Thigpen. Now wonder why he'd secretively come?

He wouldnt do that. That would make him "not a nice guy".

He isn't pulling Johnson?

He does have to be away from his wife for long periods of time you know.

Great news on Vonn Bell!  Sounds like he will be in orange.

Always good to get a kid that grew up a Vol.

Although the urban crier/liar is a great recruiter,  that tactic can backfire on you too.

Just once, I'd like to see a recruit call their bluff when a coach pulls that sleazy crap.  If just one kid says, "Okay, coach.  Go pound sand.  I'm decomitting.", it would go a long way toward alleviating those tactics.
