I thought he’d fade today, especially given some of the other names at the top. But his short game is on point.

Just made a huge mistake on 13 putting it in the water by the green when his tee shot was center of the fairway....made bogie. Good thing no one else has been hot today and Koepka has looked I do playing.....All over the course!

Now he's got a tough up and down for par on 14.

Look at that gallery. What an incredible scene.

I've missed this.

Except for the fact that they severely overestimated their grip on crowd control.

There are only 2 guys in golf who can generate that kind of scene in the US, and one of them is probably finished. Can't blame them being caught off guard that the other one would improbably be in contention at the end.

Combination of a popular and unexpected winner, a golf crowd that has been waiting for a moment like this since pre-pandemic, and of course ................. alcohol.

And that idiot that jumped on Phil's shoulder needs to be exposed and humiliated.

And Brooks Koepka needs to just shut the fizzle up and quit whining.  Never have been able to stand that arrogant self entitled weasel.

Compare and contrast Phil's post round comments after loosing to Stenson in the Open to Koepka's profanity laced tirade post round yesterday

BTW, IMO that final round at the Open was at least as good as the duel in the sun and in my view better as both players played extremely well, shame that one had to lose

Phil was on the wrong end of plenty of those crowds back in the day, and he always handled it with grace. That’s why he got that outpouring of love yesterday. And that’s something that I suspect guys like Koepka, and DJ, and Patrick Reed will never experience.

I generally like to catch the last 5-6 holes on Sunday. But I watched all 18 yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
