You can tell by his tweet history. I'm assuming you don't tweet. Fakes are usually fairly obvious. Besides, who would go through the effort to maintain a fake Mike Hamilton account? What I was wondering was why Hamilton would still be tweeting....but then I realized that he is involved in charities and probably wants to maintain a public presence. Twitter has a native app for iPhone and Droid that is good, and there are also 3rd party apps like Tweetdeck and Hootsuite. The only time I get a push notification resembling a text message is when someone mentions me specifically on Twitter.
