It's bad...though I'm not sure it's quite as bad as the color-coded chart looks at first glance, because only the guys who redshirted in that 2015 class would still be a part of the team today, and it is easily the most dramatic of the signing classes represented. There's always a lot of attrition with coaching changes, though. Folks bring up the attrition as a sign that Butch Jones was a terrible recruiter. And that's a fair point because, for all his recruiting prowess, Jones seemed to recruit much like I used to on NCAA Football the game -- just go grab the highest-ranked guys available without much attention to team needs or fit. Those same people who rip Jones usually fail to point out just how much attrition resulted from Kiffin's two great recruiting classes. It was significant.

You would hope the 16 and 17 class would be the leaders of the team. It's why Pruitt has to have more time to get a junior-senior led team. Can't just keep on this cycle we've been on for over a decade.

so what does this really tell us? There, from my most unprofessional view, just 34 of B!tch's players left on the roster. And of those 34, Nigel Warrior and Jarrett Gaurantano are a severe handicap to the team, but I digress.
My view is that Pruitt isn't underachieving, it looks he got dealt a sh!tty hand.

The chart is interesting, but we've got solid special teams, good skill players, and an o.k. starting 22.
We shouldn't be 1-3, and have been less competitive in Gainesville than Butch was at OU.

Butch lost 4 games to Florida by a combined 22 points. Pruitt has lost 2 games to Florida by a combined 54 points. That is hard to understand other than Dobbs and some others made a difference in some of Butch's years. 2019-Lost 34-3 2018-lost 47-21 2017-lost 26-20 2016-won 38-28 2015-lost 28-27 2014-lost 10-9 2013-lost 31-17

Why is it hard to understand? The really good players are gone. You mentioned Dobbs, but how about Kamara, Hurd, J. Smith, Abernathy, Malone, Kelly, Malone, Sutton, Foreman, Sapp, Reaves-Mabin, Barnett, Berry & Vereen? You left a lot out

Good point(s) FL. Reeves-Maybin and Barnett are definitely better than anyone at their positions currently (4-3 to 3-4 I realize).
I think the current OL is better than the one Hurd's freshman campaign, which is my benchmark more than later years in the Jones experiment.
As for the sig, it sadly applies to me far too often.

What stands out to me is the large number of transfers from 2017. That class seems particularly hard hit. One thing that would mitigate it a bit, is that it doesn't seem to include transfers in, of which there have been a few. Finally I don't see Petersen on there, high profile 4*+ LB that Pruitt stole from bammer in 2018. In fact, I am also wondering why he hasn't seen the field this year. He is on the roster. Maybe he is a bust, but I am still hoping he is as good as he is rated.

He's been a mystery. Late coming in because of his grades being cleared....then coming in over weight and out of shape. Did he RS last year?

As long as didn't play in more than 4 games he's ok.
