I haven't been here in over a month, I'll tell you whats been going on. I had a retina tear that required lazer surgery. Had to sit up and sleep in a recliner, couldn't read, couldn't bend over and couldn't lift anything. I developed hemmoraging into the jelly like stuff in your eye. They waited 7 days to see if it would stop on it's own, but no such luck. So, they removed the jelly stuff (I forget the name of it) and replaced it with saline solution. That was a week ago, and it's still healing. At least I get to sleep in my bed now, but have to keep my chin down toward the mattress. Have you any idea how BORING this has been????? I always thought I would love being able to sit around doing nothing all day, but that got old right away.

I noticed. I thought you were just tending to your goats.

Take care of yourself. Get better soon.

you're healing. I can empathize to a degree...I once had chemicals sprayed in both eyes and had to wear patches over my eyes for a week and then for the next week I had to apply some gel to my eyes every for hours which made everything a blur...so I had one week of total darkness and one week of blurry vision both which meant I couldn't go anywhere, read or even watch T.V. I hope your healing goes well and quickly!

Glad to hear you are doing better.

Now my fussing at you:  Why didn't you let someone else
get on here and tell us what was going on ?   Bad girl.

I feel better now.  So glad your doing better, and will add you
to my prayer list.

Hyaluronan?  I got that stuff shot into my knees one week ago.  I hope what they put into my knees didn't come from your eyes!!!  ;-)  Actually, what they used on me came from chicken combs - I have been crowing every morning since I got the shots - bahdump-shishhhhhhhh.  Good luck with the healing and take it easy.

I went through reattachment over 12 years ago.  Spent 10 days face down waiting for the bubble to diminish.
IT sucks but if the detachment was short term the results should be good.
