Playing JG was the main one. Since I said it before the season I can reiterate it now. He should have blew off this season and started the future starter. That level of failure to this season I think we all would have understood.

On this board, someone pointed out that this was a burner year and we might use it as an extra spring practice... which I agreed with that. So I would do a lot of 3 and 4 games of 4 assuming you can play a player extensively in 4 games and still not burn their redshirt. I held my breath and exhaled the first two games when they started JG in opposition to this aforementioned sound strategy. We are obviously not the only team with issues as demonstrated in the first two games. Not too late to get some very good use out of this season in anticipation of the future.

Soccer is just a game. It is a shame that some citizens in this country allow the symbol of this country to be usurped by carpetbagger groups. I served under the flag and know full well what values it represents. These groups do not own the flag. I as an American citizen define the values and those values were NOT oppression. Anyone who allows other groups to redefine what the flag represents does so because they have not vested any part of their own lives into defining our collective said values.

It isn't just that it is only three losses but two in OT and all to worthy adversaries. The real blight is the loss to UK which was a blowout. I wish they had never hit #1 because that seems to have killed their drive.

You can coach yourself horse but if the kids don't respond... What I saw in the UK game was a group of kids on rewind playing Kentucky the way they had been beating everyone else. They were on cruise control.

Steals and blocks were still there and I like ponds putting full-court pressure. Most full-court pressure is just token but he ran up and down the court. As long as they don't put the game in his hands let him run the oppo down a little and see if they are in good shape.
 

They let up on D with 7 minutes or so left in the game. The point differential could have been 29 rather than 19.

Letter grades may be subjective but I don't see how the criticisms can be.
