it occured to me the roots of Bray's performance last night were formed last Monday when Dooley threw him under the bus not once but twice in his press conference.  Throwing is players under the bus was a constant in the Monday pressers.

Yep.  Maybe he thought it would motivate them, but it looked a lot like finger-pointing to me.  He did better this year.

In the case of Bray, IDK what effect Dooley's presser might have had, but it was the second game in a row he was over excited at the start.  Bray was overthrowing receivers against Missouri as well, but settled down later in the half and made some throws.  Who's to say he would not have done so again?   Those last two drives with Worley might have actually been scores.

Maybe instead of benching him, Dooley could have recognized the problem Bray had vs. Missouri and tried to get him to settle down on the first drive or something.

Bray was clearly "off" in warmups.  He was high, behind, low, and ahead of the receivers all through the route trees
In the "walk through" after they got off the bus he normally would go through the tree with Hunter and CP but he hardly threw a pass Saturday night

In the first half thee were two passes that resulted in a Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot response from me and others around me

They were delicious, by the way.  Mrs. 101st and I each enjoyed one for breakfast on Saturday morning.
