game at Bristol, what do think of it as a football venue? Great, good, okay, bad or terrible. How long did it take you to get out of town after the game? I know that during race days that place is like the Hotel California, you can check in but you csn never leave..lol. I remember it taking a couple of hours to get home and our house was just a couple of miles up the Volunteer Parkway in Blue Ridge.

Glad I went
Experience was cool
Once was enough
Security SUCKED
Game without binoculars was a waste
Colossus wasn't all that
4 hours back to campus after the game

Ditto to everything Pirate said. More specifically, it took us 2 hours to get to Bristol; another 2 1/2 hours to get to the parking area (4 1/2 hours total). It took 3 hours to get back to campus from Bristol. The throng trying to get in was handled poorly and, as Pirate said, Security sucked. Some vendors ran out of food by middle of 3rd quarter. All that being said, I'm glad I was there as after watching the replay on TV, it was truly something to behold in person and could not be adequately represented through the tube.  Pre-game, anthem, halftime shows were very well done.

Security sucked...maybe I just like to live on the wild side, but almost 0 security is fine by me.  Frankly it's a pain in the ass.

I enjoyed it with my buds but the security BS like we were going to take a flight was of stupid proportions and when they saw it would take another hour to get everyone in the security people had a change of "heart" and killed the BS.  The pre game and the pageantry was tremendous and 150k was a tremendous sight, but the game was hard to follow if you were binocularless due to the distance from the field for most of the people. The game was fun but would I do it once every three years.....HELL NO.  The trip back was good and I was home in bed by 3:30 AM

We left TYS at 9 AM and were in Bristol at 10:45
