Title: I would like to see Peyton traded Post by: volmeister on January 08, 2012, 09:39:23 EST He has zero chance of getting to another super bowl with the Colts. If he stays in Indy it will be to groom his replacement. I think he would be ideal for San Francisco or Denver. What say you?
Title: Re: I would like to see Peyton traded Post by: Black Diamond Vol on January 08, 2012, 09:42:50 EST It's going to happen. When Irsay fired Polian, I think that was the writing on the wall. But you can't trade a guy on IR, so he has to get healthy first.

The Titans have their QB of the future already. He'll end up with the Jets IMO, or maybe the Dolphins with Jeff Fisher. Would NOT like the Jets. :frown: So help me out...I should know, but who is the future of Tennessee? I know it's not Hasselbeck. Title: Re: I would like to see Peyton traded Post by: BanditVol on January 08, 2012, 10:31:53 EST Jake Locker. Yeah, just checked the roster, had forgotten him. Did he do much this year? Title: Re: I would like to see Peyton traded Post by: ReVOLver on January 08, 2012, 10:34:32 EST Yeah, just checked the roster, had forgotten him. Did he do much this year? He played well in limited action. He almost led them to a comeback win vs. the Saints. Munchak has already announced that they will go into next year with an open QB competition. He has the same sort of game as Aaron Rodgers did early in his career... not sure if he has that kind of upside, but he is a great running QB with a good arm. IMO the Cowboys have the talent to make a run, but they just can't keep from falling all over themselves and screwing it up. How many chances is Romo going to get before Jones and Co. just say "I can't take it anymore" and move on? Jerry Jones is a "results now" type of guy, as well as a "big splash" type of guy. It wouldn't surprise me, and obviously would thrill me. And make no mistake... it's Peyton's system, not Tom Moore's or anybody else's. That's why I wonder if he doesn't end up with Jeff Fisher if Fisher takes the Miami job. Fisher is a defensive guy and might go young on his OC hire... He loved Titans QB coach and passing game coordinator Dowell Loggains when he was there. While true, we all know Jones will make the decision and not Garrett. And Jones doesn't always make the move that makes the most sense. In the past he's displayed the desire to "WOW" his way into the Super Bowl. And I also agree that I think Fisher ends up in STL. I've heard it described as Miami is "more $$$" but the Rams are "smart $$$".
